Leveling Inscription: 1-300
A WotLK Wiki Guide. Original information compiled by Ichbindich.
Introduction
This guide is meant to assist in leveling the new Inscription profession from 1 to 300. (an addition for levels 300-375 will be added once the professions is fully implemented.)
Keep in mind that this is just one recommended leveling route. Everyone levels professions differently. The follow is an outline of the quickest, easiest way we've found so far.
Also, materials costs may change at any time for the listed spells. This guide will be updated as soon as possible if this occurs, but see the Inscription page for the latest details on required materials.
Note: This guide uses Druid Glyphs because as of Beta Build 8885 they are the only Glyphs without bugged materials costs. Using Glyphs more related to your own class will likely be a viable option once materials costs are fixed.
Learning and Training Inscription
Currently Inscription trainers are only available in Northrend areas, but they will more than likely be added to all major faction cities in Azeroth. Below is a list of current Inscription training NPCs:
Alliance
Tink Brightbolt - Valiance Keep (Borean Tundra)
Mindri Dinkles - Valgarde (Howling Fjord)
Horde
Adelene Sunlance - Warsong Hold (Borean Tundra)
Booker Kells - Vengeance Landing (Howling Fjord)
Neutral
Professor Palin - Dalaran
Booker Kells, Grand Master Inscription Trainer in Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord.
Items Created
Below is a list of items that were created for each step of leveling 1 to 300. Materials required per item are in brackets:
2-30: 33 x Silver Ink (1 x Silverleaf)
30-40: 10 x Scroll of Intellect (2 x Silver Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
40-50: 10 x Moonglow Ink (1 x Alabaster Pigment)
50-75: 60 x Scroll of Recall (1 x Moonglow Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
75-85: 11 x Bleached Vellum (1 x Moonglow Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
85-100: 17 x Glyph of Swipe (1 x Midnight Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
100-120: 22 x Treated Vallum (1 x Midnight Ink, 5 x Light Parchment)
120-125: 6 x Glyph of Entangling Roots (1 x Lion's Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
125-150: 29 x Glyph of Healing Touch (1 x Lion's Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
150-165: 23 x Jadefire Ink (1 x Emerald Pigment)
165-175: 12 x Glyph of Moonfire (1 x Jadefire Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
175-200: 29 x Glyph of Insect Swarm (1 x Jadefire Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
200-210: 10 x Celestial Ink (1 x Violet Pigment)
210-225: 20 x Glyph of Rebirth (1 x Celestial Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
225-250: 25 x Glyph of Rip (3 x Celestial Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
250-275: 25 x Glyph of Starfire (3 x Shimmering Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
275-300: 25 x Glyph of Shred (3 x Shimmering Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
Required Materials
Below is a list of the total materials used in the above list:
33 x Silverleaf
20 x Silver Ink
81 x Alabaster Pigment
39 x Dusky Pigment
35 x Golden Pigment
41 x Emerald Pigment
95 x Violet Pigment
150 x Silvery Pigment
208 x Light Parchment
76 x Common Parchment
95 x Heavy Parchment
Parchment Costs
Each crafted Glyph required a certain type of Parchment, which are purchased from Inscription Trainers/Suppliers or Trade Goods vendors. Below is a breakdown of the approximate cost per Parchment (bass cost, not effected by Reputation levels):
Light Parchment: 15 copper.
Common Parchment: 1 silver, 25 copper.
Heavy Parchment: 12 silver, 50 copper.
Resilient Parchment: 50 silver. (Not used until 350+ Inscription)
Recipes available on an Inscription Trainer.
Supplies sold by an Inscription Trainer.
Parchments on a Trade Supplies vendor in Ebon Watch.
Pigments
Formerly called "Pomace," Pigments are used in the creation of Inks.
There are other Pigments besides the ones listed here, but they are liekly used for non-Glyph Inscription flavor items (since they are not used in any Druid glyphs, which are the only ones that currently have scaling material costs as of Beta Build 8885), which are not included on the trainer yet.
Pigment Source Herbs
The Pigments used in the above list of required materials may be obtained from the following herbs by using the [|_new Nilling] ability. For each stack of 5 herbs milled, 2-3 Pigments are produced. Therefore a stack (20) of herbs will give you a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 normal Pigments. (With the occasional uncommon-quality pigment, which as stated previously, may be used for non-Glyph items and are not required for this guide.)
Any herb in each range will do, you don't have to collect specific amounts of any single herb, though 5 herbs of the same type are required for each milling process.
Alabaster Pigment: Bloodthistle, Peacebloom, Silverleaf, Earthroot, Mageroyal.
Dusky Pigment: Briarthorn, Swiftthistle, Bruiseweed, Stranglekelp.
Golden Pigment: Wild Steelbloom, Grave Moss, Kingsblood, Liferoot.
Emerald Pigment: Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar's Whiskers, Wintersbite.
Violet Pigment: Firebloom, Purple Lotus, Arthas' Tears, Sungrass, Blindweed, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood.
Silvery Pigment: Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom, Icecap.
See the Reagents section for the Inscription levels required to mill each type of herb.
Even Heroes have to pick their own herbs...
List of Required Herbs
Therefore, to obtain the amount of Pigment required for the materials list, the crafter should obtain the following:
7-10 stacks of Alabaster-giving herbs
4-5 stacks of Dusky-giving herbs
3-5 stacks of Golden-giving herbs
4-6 stacks of Emerald-giving herbs
8-12 stacks of Violet-giving herbs
13-19 stacks of Silvery-giving herbs
The first number is the minimum number of stacks you will need. However, it is strongly recommended that you acquire the higher number of stacks because the number of Pigments acquired per milling process is so random. Erring on the side of caution with your preparation will make things go much smoother.

ecco more dataz tutti per te preda
Inscription allows a player to create the following:
Inks and Parchments used as Reagents in other Inscription recipes.
Create Scrolls for enchanters that allow them to sell their enchants in the Auction House.
Scrolls that increase stats (similar to those that can be looted).
Runes that can be applied to a player's Glyph Interface to boost spell effects or make cosmetic changes.
Runewords which can be applied to pieces of armor as a form of temporary enchant. (Example)
Runes of Power that act as offensive/damage spells, consuming Inscription-based Reagents (like Inks). (Example)
Scrolls of Recall that function similar to Hearthstones.
Various Card items. (Example)

-mining +500 vita
-skinning +25 crit. srtike
-herbalism ->una ceppa

rirollare altre professioni avrà senso in wotlk perchè vedremo cosa "diventarenno" a 450 skill.
